  • Busy in the Kitchen (2022-ongoing)

Busy in the Kitchen, is an ongoing series of works drawn from memory picturing dishes that I’ve cooked at work. The drawings began as a response to remembering particular dishes, as I rarely have time to take a picture of them in the moment. This also serves as a way to connect to the food I cook, by recalling the feeling at the time of cooking and aids memorisation.  I keep all menus from each day and highlight what I’ve cooked, which often serves as inspiration for this visual archive.
